ACHTUNG RedSea 750XXL BesitzerWie viele vermutlich mitbekommen haben, hat RedSea massivste Probleme mit platzenden Silikonnähten im Frontbereich bei ihren 750XXL Modellen. Ausgelöst wird das ganze durch eine sich senkende Bodenplatte bzw. Luftblasen in der Silikonnaht.Alle 750XXL Besitzer erhalten ein kostenloses Stabilisationskit, müssen ihren Fall jedoch auf der RedSea Seite registrieren. Kontrolliert penibelst eure vordere Silikonnaht und achtet auf einen Spalt zwischen Becken und Bodenplatte, es sind bereits ein Haufen Becken ausgelaufen! Anbei das offizielle RedSea-Statement.

Hi all, we have been following up on the failures of the XXL750 and as promised we are now ready to provide an update on the situation.Apart from a very few specific cases which we will not relate to here, the common issue with the majority of the failures seems to be caused by a gradual sagging of the cabinet top board above the sump, followed by the appearance of air bubbles in the silicone seam at the bottom of the tank. This is not happening to all units of a specific age or production batch and despite the number of reports it is still a relatively small percentage of the number of active systems. As part of our evaluation of the situation we have viewed many units that look exactly as they did the day they were installed.The sagging can easily be prevented or remedied with the simple addition of a support column that can be retrofitted to the sump compartment of all existing XXL750 and is now incorporated as a standard part of all new XL750 systems.The retrofit XXL750 cabinet support column kits are currently in production and will be provided free of charge to all owners that have registered their tanks, as soon as they reach our various distribution centers towards the end of October. Owners that have not registered their tanks should do so now.A few owners have reported noticing a gap between the bottom of the tank and the top of the cabinet. This is a clear indication of the sagging of the cabinet top board as mentioned above. If there are no air bubbles in the silicone in the area of the gap there is no cause for concern and installing the support column will resolve the problem. mmh wäre mal zuerst die Frage wie groß dein Becken ist und ob sich der Aufwand dafür lohnt ?
Gegen IBC Tanks spricht erstmal nix, eigentlich nur die Tatsache das sie nicht durch normale Kellertüren passen
Warum will man einen kompletten Eimer Salz auf einmal auflösen wollen ?
Der Aufwand rechnet sich bei unter 2000L Aquarien eigentlich nicht, selbst bei 2000L brauchst du nur, rechnet man 10% Wasserwechsel gerade mal 200L
Dafür stell ich mir lieber 2x100L-Tonnen in den Keller, verbinde die und laß nee Pumpe drin laufen zum auflösen des Salzes

alternativ geht auch ein Tunze innenabschäumer der ragt nur 3 cm über den Wasserspiegel raus und wird mit Magneten fixiert

für den Abschäumer würde ich ein Podest einkleben, einfach eine Glasscheibe waagerecht einkleben über 2 Ecken auf die passende Höhe vom Wasserstand des Abschäumers

Du bist ja nicht dazu verpflichtet die Original Verpackung aufzuheben.
Aber bei Transportschäden übernimmt dann natürlich keiner die Haftung wenn es nicht Ordnungsgemäß verpackt ist.
Das sie dir die Zusendung einer OVP berechnen ist doch wohl logisch und hat nix mit Kundenunfreundlichkeit zu tun, die Herstellung und der Vertrieb sind sicher nicht an einen Standort, so gesehen ist der Aufwand dir eine OVP zuzuschicken doch extrem hoch und 25€ sind da echt noch günstig.
Du suchst jetzt hier eine OVP dafür bezahlst du hin und zurück Versand, und am Ende stehst du wieder ohne OVP da und in einen erneuten Garantiefall beginnt das gleiche Spiel nochmal.
Nimmst du dagegen die 25€ in Kauf hast du wieder eine eigene

ein Ablauf zum TB bleibt ein Ablauf
Algenrefugium würde ich auch komplett weglassen, oder evtl. Ein kleines Plexiglasbecken über den TB stellen mit einer kleinen Förderpumpe und Abläufe zum TB.
Als Trennscheiben kannst du schon Plexiglasscheiben nehmen und sie mit Silikon verkleben, da ist nicht alt so viel Druck drauf und der Voorteil du kannst jederzeit Änderungen vornehmen was die Höhe der Trennscheiben angeht, weil jeder Abschäumer benötigt einen gewissen Wasserspiegel.

wenn es eine Pumpenkammer ist nicht das stimmt aber es ist der Ablauf zum TB
Ich hatte schon häufiger Schnecken die den Ablauf verstopfen und alles über den Notsblauf lief

Sehe ich das richtig bei deinem Ablauf das nur eine Bohrung zum Technikbecken geht ?
Wenn ja dann ist das schon mal das 1. Probleme was du hast.
Ein weiteres, wie schon gesagt wurde ist die Größe des TB, vor allen die Höhe ist viel zu niedrig angesetzt.
Ein weiteres Manko ist die Beleuchtung die aus Hqi besteht, was nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist und bei der Beckenhöhe auch nicht nötig ist.
Scheiben habe ich bisher immer mit Schneidedraht rausgeschnitten was wirklich sehr gut funktioniert.
