Previously I used the airhose on my MTT1 (venturi) to draw daily 5 liter Osmosewasser. So yes, it works to keep saltcrusts away. Against Kalkablagerung it will probably help too if done on a daily basis.
Currently I am using the DC200 with RD3 and since the airhose is not easy to pull out I haven't tried it yet on this type of skimmer (needle-wheel).

I would like to think this would be a 'piece of cake' for RE to make supersilent Propeller-Strömungspumpen since you manage this also with Forderpumpe and Abschaumer.

I have been using Reef Crystals for the last 7 years and have no complaints, but I would like to find out if Crystal Sea could be a high quality, cheaper, replacement.
